Welcome back Munnsters, I hope you had a great summer vacation!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Kaitlyn Shamp and I will be the new School Counselor working in the 8:1:1 program at William C. Munn Elementary.
I was born and raised in Rochester, NY. I received a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology at St. John Fisher College. I received my M.S., C.A.S in School Counseling from Roberts Wesleyan College. I enjoy practicing yoga, cycling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
As a school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of students by using the Spencerport School Counseling Curriculum, which aligns with New York State and the American School Counselor Association standards.
