Social and Emotional Learning Survey
Published on Dec 5, 2019 10:22

Dear Munn Families,

As our district continues to build awareness and capacity around Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), we will be administering a survey to K-5 students that will identify and measure their social and emotional challenges and strengths. The online SEL survey that we will use has been developed by PASS (Pupil Attitudes toward Self and School) and is administered on a testing platform called Testwise.

The survey for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students consists of 27 statements with a yes or no response and will be administered between January 13, 2020 and January 24, 2020. The survey for 2nd through 5th Grade students consists of 50 statements with four possible responses and will be administered between December 11, 2019 and December 19, 2019.

The survey takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete once students are logged in with their unique access code. The results of the PASS survey will provide evidence of students’ attitudes and beliefs about self, others, and school, and will assist the overall goal of promoting students’ self-awareness, self-management, social-awareness, relationship, and responsible decision-making skills.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
