Minutes - 4/6/2021

Reopening 4 Days/week concerns/questions General
  • Build and sustain relationships, routines, connections, teach expectations.
  • BPT supports additional outside recess while adhering to current sanitation protocols, scheduled recess time can be on the playground, extra recess time should be elsewhere.
    Student Laptop Computers
  • BPT supports laptops and chargers staying in school to support opportunity for family and outside time
  • Students receiving OT, PT, Speech and Counseling services must take laptop computers home on Tuesday evening for Wednesday services
Lunches
  • Concern regarding process & distribution, Mike will discuss with Mrs. Wagner.
Busing
  • Mrs. Hinchey contacting parents and transportation to verify all students
Arrival / Dismissal
  • Mr. Canny will look at the morning bus duty to determine if/what needs to be adjusted,
  • Adjustments will be made by Mr. Canny as needed to accommodate a timely arrival and dismissal process
Homework
  • BPT recommends that none is assigned except for Wednesday asynchronous work.
  • Asynchronous work will be paper-based and no more than the grade allotment time identified in the hybrid instructional model from September –No new learning, and should look the same within each grade level.

  • Paper-based asynchronous work must be planned accordingly and forwarded to be printed at the print shop.
CRE Feedback from February 11 and 25 Professional Development Team to review for a possible future action step.
Surveys
  • Staff: YES, complete no later than May meeting
  • Students: NO
  • Parents: YES, complete not later than June meeting, send in July in prep for our August Summer BPT day
Field Days/ End of the year celebration The District is currently closed to vendors and volunteers.  Once we can have venders would like to do a Kona Ice type of event. Mr. Nentarz is planning to do outside activities once it's warmer as much as possible while adhering to sanitation requirements.
 
End of Year Celebration
  • School-wide dance party outside, grounds to grid off 3ft/6ft squares?
  • Bring Steve back!
  • May need to do K-2, 3-5 events separately
  • Discuss with PBIS
